MoMEBIA – Electricity Market Monitoring with AI

MoMEBIA (Monitoring of the Electricity Market using Artificial Intelligence) is a research initiative from UC3M’s EVANNAI group focused on applying advanced AI techniques for energy market monitoring, forecasting, and analysis.

• Develops machine learning models for price forecasting and anomaly detection in the Central Western Europe electricity market.
• Enhances integration of renewables through AI-driven convergence analysis.
• Supports grid stability and policymaking with data-driven insights.
• Publishes in high-impact journals such as *Energy Policy* and *Energy Reports*.

The project integrates evolutionary algorithms, deep learning, and time-series analysis to improve prediction accuracy and understanding of energy market dynamics.
